Meet Our Supporters
Lena Metlege Diab was elected as the Member of Parliament for Halifax West on September 20, 2021. She is the first female MP to represent the riding. Lena has been a valued community supporter of the community garden.
Kathryn Morse was first elected to HRM Council for District 10 in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. She has been a steadfast supporter of the first community garden in Rockingham and provided key funding for the initial set-up of the garden and much-needed funding for the garden fence.
